Buddy is one of those very special dogs that spreads joy wherever he goes. From the time he was young we knew he was special and now in his golden years he continues to shine in everything he does.

Among his first shows: 2010 English Springer Spaniel Club of Canada National Specialty Reserve Winners Dog & Best Puppy in National Specialty - Best In National Sweepstakes

The same weekend Two Best Puppy in Show awards.

In just two weekends and 5 All Breed shows he accumulates 3 Best Puppy in Show an Best In All Breed Sweepstakes and his first of many group placements and his Canadian Championship.

2010 US Shows: Buddy wins a 4 pt major from the Junior Puppy class his first weekend out (16 class dogs)

His next venture stateside 2 Best of Breed wins from the classes and his first US Group placement.

2011: Shown just 13 times in Canada in 2011 Buddy wins the breed 13 times with 11 Group placements including 3 Group wins and ranks him # 3 Springer in Canada

At the US Nationals weekend Buddy takes 2nd in Bred By Exhibitor. Along with his brother Crosby help Mom and Dad take 3rd in both Stud Dog and Brood Bitch at the Nationals and Regionals.

2012: Buddy wins Best In National Specialty show at the English Springer Spaniel Club Of Canada

In the US Buddy wins five straight Best Of Winners (twice Best of Opposite over Specials) to complete his US Championship and begin his quest towards his Grand Championship title.

2013: Shown just six weekends close to home Buddy is the # 1 Springer In Canada

At the 2013 ESSCC Nationals Buddy goes Best Of Opposite Sex in National Specialty

ESSCC Show Dog Of The Year (Group and Breed Level)

Best in US Specialty Dallas-Fort Worth English Springer Spaniel Association under breeder judge Linda Riedel -Ramblewood Springers

Completes his US Grand Championship

2014: Shown 5 weekends Buddy is ranked # 5 Springer in Canada.

ESSCC Nationals Award Of Merit

2015: 4 Weekends of shows nets Buddy # 3 Springer in Canada

2016: 6 Weekends of Shows nets Buddy # 2 Springer and Canada # 1 Male.

ESSCC National Specialty Best in Veteran Sweepstakes (not shown in the reg. classes)

6th straight year as a group winner. Qualifies for Crufts

15 Best of Breeds with 14 Group placements

2017: Best Veteran in All Breed Show his only weekend shown with two group placements against the youngsters.

2019: Shown three weekends as a 10 year old veteran

Buddy was handled to most of these wins by his breeder David Swartwood but on rare occasions his Best Girl Friend, Chris Downing would take him for a spin and was always his number one supporter.

Meanwhile Buddy is living with and being used in competitive grooming competitions with Chantal Hunt of "de Tails Grooming" in Mallorytown Ontario. The pairing have had great success in a very competitive sport and Buddy loves her family. Thanks Chantal and family! He started the grooming shows under the care of Master Groomer Ann Curran of "Smith Falls Grooming" before Ann started working with Buddy's half brother Michael. Thanks Ann!
